No Really!, We're almost there!

Phil and I check out a tree.. I'm doin' my best hillbilly belly!

The Duncan Cedar, World's Largest Western Red Cedar. We observed at lest 3 if not more different ecosystems living on this tree at various elevations.

Just gotta get past these driftwood logs...

All 5 of us stood inside this cedar at the same time! Its still growing!

And finally the Top! 178 FEET! This tree is absolutely amazing!

Finally we reach the West Coast - Next stop west, Kamchatka!

Old growth trees like this act as lightning rods and help protect younger trees.

About 20 minutes into our hike, we see why the park is closed.. This is (was) old growth timber!
